Free, and what a membership adds

Translating, the key, the decoder, the light output and the whole reference are free with no account. The only thing that touches our servers is a device.

What the money buys

Synced learning progress across devices, and — when it lands — a paired wearable and the automation that drives it. Everything you can do inside a browser tab costs us a page load and is free accordingly.

What stays free, permanently

Text to morse and back, the practice key, microphone decoding, light output, the full reference and local learning progress. Charging for a morse translator would be charging for the step before the one worth paying for.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Translating, the practice key, the microphone decoder, the light output and the whole reference all run in your browser with no account and no limit. An account exists for two things: syncing your learning progress, and sending a message to a paired device.

Can I send morse to a physical device?

That is being built. The device half runs over the Leumas fabric — the same layer that talks to every other Leumas device — and the wire protocol lives beside the existing gadget protocol rather than being invented again. Until the hardware is enrolled, this site says so instead of showing a pairing screen that cannot pair.
